In the cart, the customer picks a wrap for each item (only wraps that fit are offered), chooses a card and writes a message, and sees it laid out on the card exactly as it will print, with any line that will not fit struck through. Characters the card printer cannot print are named. Items that cannot be wrapped are refused at the cart with the reason. Wrap fees can be per item or per box. Your wrapping table works from a queue of gift orders, soonest first, and prints gift slips with no prices.

The problem

What it does

Each card has lines and characters a line, measured once off a printed card. The message is word-wrapped as it prints and refused at the cart if it runs over, with how many characters to cut and the bigger card to choose. Curly quotes and dashes are made plain; emoji and anything else a card printer's font cannot print are named.
