Wasproof records each variant's price every day, and whether it was really on sale to the public. When a variant shows a was-price, Wasproof checks the record: was it offered at that price, openly, on enough days before the sale began? It also flags sales that have run too long, "formerly sold at" wording without real sales at that price, and Sale badges for a cut too small to notice. The day counts are your settings, following the FTC guide on former prices. Not legal advice.

What it does

every variant on sale: backed (with the day count and the date the sale began) or what is wrong, with "Take the was-price and badge down" and a link to its history.
the log folded into runs: from, to, days, price, on sale to the public or hidden, units sold. This is the proof to keep.

How am I billed?
$6 a month through Shopify's own app billing, on your normal Shopify bill. No card is taken here and there is no share of your sales.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Shopify tells the app the moment you uninstall, and the app erases what it kept for your store. Customer data requests from Shopify are answered the same way. The full detail is on the app's own privacy page.
