CARB Executive Orders on every emissions part.
Smogtag keeps each emissions-related part's CARB Executive Order number and the vehicles it covers: years, make, model and engine. The product page shows the EO line. A California order for a road vehicle is held when the part has no EO, or its EO does not list that vehicle, and an unknown engine is never assumed to match. Competition-only sales on the buyer's word are off unless you turn them on. You check EO numbers in CARB's own lookup. Not legal advice.

How am I billed?
$12 a month through Shopify's own app billing, on your normal Shopify bill. No card is taken here and there is no share of your sales.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Shopify tells the app the moment you uninstall, and the app erases what it kept for your store. Customer data requests from Shopify are answered the same way. The full detail is on the app's own privacy page.
