Lensclock asks for the patient's copy of their prescription first and checks it has what a prescription must carry. If there is none, it writes the verification request to the prescriber with everything the Contact Lens Rule asks for, runs the eight business hours in the prescriber's own time zone, skipping weekends and federal holidays, and records how it ended. The order can ship only once it is verified. Records are kept three years. Not legal advice.

The problem

- Sell only on a prescription the patient presents, or one verified by phone, fax or email. Offer the way to present a copy first.
- Never fill one the prescriber calls inaccurate, expired or invalid in time; never swap the brand unless the patient named it (a private label of the same lens is allowed). Keep everything three years. Federal holidays are the eleven of 5 U.S.C. 6103(a). A holiday on a weekend also takes the nearest weekday - that only makes the wait longer, the safe way round. How am I billed?
$19 a month through Shopify's own app billing, on your normal Shopify bill. No card is taken here and there is no share of your sales.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Shopify tells the app the moment you uninstall, and the app erases what it kept for your store. Customer data requests from Shopify are answered the same way. The full detail is on the app's own privacy page.
