A bar across your shop and a timer on each product page count down to the end of the sale, the same end for every shopper. The countdown has no end time of its own, so the clock and the discount cannot drift apart, and it never resets or runs per visitor. At zero the bar goes and the price goes back. The bar's words are checked against the sale, and a sale whose end is moved later after it began is flagged, as are two sales on one product. Preview the shop at any moment you pick.

- The countdown has no end time of its own - it is the sale's end, so the clock and the discount cannot drift apart.
- It never resets and never runs per visitor; at zero the bar goes and the price goes back.
- The bar's words are checked against the sale: a percent that is not the sale's, "today only" on a sale longer than a day, or no {timer}/{ends} at all, is refused.
- A sale whose end is moved later after it began is flagged - a deadline that slides is one shoppers stop believing. Moving it before it starts is planning and is not flagged.

How am I billed?

What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Shopify tells the app the moment you uninstall, and the app erases what it kept for your store. Customer data requests from Shopify are answered the same way. The full detail is on the app's own privacy page.
